Welcome To Watercolor
Things To Do In Watercolor
Watercolor is feels like you are in a painting at times, which is where it gets it’s name from!
Western Lake, one of South Walton’s most beautiful coastal dune lakes, is located in Watercolor. You can spend your days paddling the lake by renting a kayak or a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) at the Watercolor Boathouse, or you can cycle and trek your way through Grayton Beach State Park and Point Washington State Forest.
The Watercolor Inn & Resort’s architectural design is ideal for large families and multigenerational family holidays, and the Florida-style residences and wide front porches compliment South Walton’s natural splendor.
The Watercolor Inn is home to The Gathering Spot and the acclaimed FOOW (Fish out of Water) restaurant, both of which include rooms with views of the Gulf of Mexico. One of South Walton’s most stunning vistas may be found from the FOOW’s outside patio, which offers a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico.
The Wine Bar, which is located along Highway 30A, offers a tempting happy hour where you can relax and sip while enjoying a gourmet cheese plate, a fire-roasted brick oven pizza, or the Red Snapper picatta. It’s the ideal way to unwind after a day spent with your family exploring gorgeous Cerulean Park and shopping neighborhood businesses.
The Mountainfilm on Tour Festival, a two-night outdoor film event aimed at educating, inspiring, and motivating audiences, and the Harvest Wine & Food Festival, a three-day celebration with celebrity winemaker dinners, an outdoor reserve tasting, and a grand tasting featuring more than 250 wines, are both held at Watercolor every year.
A trip to Watercolor provides a tranquil small-town atmosphere, luxury amenities, and a first-rate beach, all ideal for unwinding and spending time with loved ones.
